MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!
Its the time of the year again! c:
I went to ST. REGIS to celebrate christmas! Cuz my dad had some voucher thingy. It was so so duper COOL. So what if it was just a night stay and we had to check out at 12.00PM the next day? and that we didn't even had turkey or stuffed red stockings. ( like we ever have them lorh.) it was fun. and one of the best christmas ever.
we checked in to the hotel at around 11.50AM something. and then we put our stuff down and started walkin' long Orcahrd Road. went to ION. walked around some more. ION was huge. like really big. you could get lost in there. but my stupid flats were giving me the blisters. so they hurt loads.
went to far east plaza too! brought loads of stuff. and got new shoes cuz my previous ones were killing me. then we went back to the hotel and then the TV wasn't working, so we called the butler. i thought all butlers were guys, like the ones in home alone 4. but the one we met was a lady. And becuase of CHRISTMAS, she gave us a complimentary gift, which everyone had. then we slept there till around 9.00PM. Woke up, bathed, and went to the Catheral. OMG. i was so tired lorh. 12.00AM already. when the priest said his homily, my eyes were like closing already. but the choir was good. thumbs up! and it was HUGE. there were like at least 100 people in the choir. The church was packed. the seats were all filled up like one hour before the mass started. ONE HOUR. woah.
but we managed to get a seat because of my kiasu daddy. who made us leave the house at 10.30PM because of all the jams on the roads and stuff. and the roads looked like the whole of singapore gathered together in orchard road. so crowded! and the bus driver had to keep honking cuz the people walked way too far onto the road and the bus didn't have enough space to move. and when i was leaving, some guy stepped on my new shoes. grrrr..
Reached home at around 2 in the morning. slept till around 9. bathed and went to eat breakfast. they had chorizo, somked salmon ( which i thought was salty.) and cheeses. the cheeses were STRONG. like when i put just a little bit into to my mouth, my face became ... my eyes popped out! i was wondering how come cheeses were like that. guess cuz i'm a country bumpkin and i haven't tried so many things. and i thought the bean like things were chorizos. haha.
then we checked out! and that was that. took 36 to the airport before taking 53. then we reached home! layed down on my bed and immediately fell asleep. home sweet home.
